The Aberdeen Inn was built as
a large family residence in the early 1900's
and is now part of the Grove Park
neighborhood of North Asheville, close to
downtown and convenient to all local
attractions (see below).
One of the
earliest houses built in the area, the
Aberdeen Inn rests comfortably on a small
rise surrounded by nearly an acre of lawns,
trees and gardens. From the columned
wraparound front porch, the oak and dogwood
trees frame your view of the mountains
surrounding Asheville.

Aberdeen Inn is
managed by
owner-operators Tom
Boyle and Michele
Kala.
Tom is trained as a
Master Chef and had
been in private
service for 22 years
prior to opening a
bed and breakfast in
Oak Park, Illinois,
a suburb of Chicago,
12 years ago.
Michele is a
registered nurse,
but has long had a
passion for opening
and running a bed
and breakfast. She
and Tom married in
2003 and have been
working together in
Oak Park until they
made the decision to
purchase the
Aberdeen Inn.
